Welcome to Sunshine Coast Mobility. By booking or using our mobility scooter rental services, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before proceeding.

1. Business Information

2. Rental Scope

We provide short-term rental of mobility scooters to eligible customers within a 20km radius of Buderim. Delivery and pickup are included in the service area. Deliveries outside of the 20km radius may incur a fee which will be stated to the customer on enquiry.

3. Booking & Payments

All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation.

Full payment is required before delivery.

We accept bank transfer and credit card payments.

4. Hire Duration

Scooters may be hired for:

Daily, Weekly, or custom durations upon request

Hire periods start from the time of delivery and end at the time of pickup.

5. Cancellations & Refunds

Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the hire start time will receive a full refund.

Cancellations within 48 hours may incur a fee or forfeit part of the hire charge.

6. Delivery & Collection

We offer free delivery and collection within a 10km radius of Buderim for rentals of 7 days or longer.

For hire periods less than 7 days, or for deliveries outside the 10km radius, a delivery and pickup fee will apply. This will be confirmed with the customer prior to booking.

Customers must ensure someone is available at the agreed delivery and pickup time.

Late returns or failed pickup may incur a fee.

7. Scooter Use

By renting a scooter, you agree to:

Use it safely and responsibly at all times.

Avoid misuse, overloading, or riding in unsafe conditions.

Return the scooter in the same condition it was received, allowing for fair wear and tear.

Use the scooter only on suitable terrain (we’ll confirm this with you before delivery).

Do not carry passengers or operate the scooter under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

8. Damage & Liability

No security bond is required at this stage. However, renters are responsible for any loss or damage beyond normal use.

Sunshine Coast Mobility is not liable for injuries, accidents, or property damage arising from misuse of the scooter.

9. Battery & Maintenance

Scooters are delivered fully charged.

Renters are responsible for recharging using the supplied charger.

Let us know immediately if any issues arise during your rental period.

10. Privacy

We respect your privacy. Customer information is collected solely for the purpose of providing and improving our services, and is never shared without your consent.

By placing a booking, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.
